Our office opening times are Monday to Thursday 8:00am till 5:00pm & Friday 8:00am till 3pm.

We close for all Bank holidays and we also close for Christmas and new year, on Friday 19th December 2025 at 12 Noon, and we reopen at 8am on Monday 5th January 2026.

Rainwater Direct is one of the largest manufacturers and main distributors of Heritage Cast Iron, Aluminium, Steel and UPVC ‘Cast Iron Style’ rainwater systems in the UK.

We specialise in cast systems and have the largest range of cast iron & aluminium in the UK, which includes Ornamental hoppers and bespoke guttering. 

Operating from Northamptonshire and servicing contractors, merchants and self builders nationwide, our sales and technical team have over 30 years experience working with Cast Iron and Aluminium gutter systems. The advice we can offer when considering a rainwater system is arguably the best in the industry.

We hold large stocks of all standard ranges of Heritage Cast Iron systems in both primed and pre painted black, Cast Aluminium systems in Polyester Powder Coated Textured Black, Galvanised Steel and UPVC ‘Cast Iron Style’. We deliver most stock orders within 48 hours to any UK mainland destination.

Cast iron rainwater systems are available in a full range of products which include ornamental hoppers, bespoke sandcast guttering, soil pipe and accessories.

We also supply coloured aluminium in a full range of RAL & BS Colours which include our new range of ornamental hoppers. Extruded aluminium is also available in a full range of colours & profiles for a contemporary modern look.

FREQUENTLY ASKED CAST IRON QUESTIONS

What is the life expectancy of cast iron?

Cast Iron offers longevity for rainwater & soil solutions; installations have been proven to last well in excess of 100 years. Minimal maintenance is required for Heritage Cast Iron castings, annual inspections are recommended but if systems are correctly installed, only periodic painting should be required. 

Can you supply non-standard cast iron products? 

Yes. We can manufacture non-standard products. Made to order products can include radius gutters. All standard products can be altered to exact specifications: extended offsets, unusual angles and special bracketry can be catered for by our in-house fabricators. 

Can you help with take-off from drawings? 

Yes, we can offer a take off service from drawings or we can simply help you over the phone, and discuss your requirements. 

Can you assist with installation advise? 

Yes. Our experienced sales team can answer many questions related to the installation of our products; We have downloadable installation guides & safety sheets available on our website, or we will happily email these to you. 

Can we order from you directly, or do we have to order through a merchant?

Can I have my order delivered to a different address? 

Yes. Rainwater Direct offers a direct to site delivery service. We will need a full site address including postcode and a site contact name and telephone number. You will also need to provide details of any site access restrictions, special offload or booking in requirements and site opening hours.
